SHEPHERDSTOWN, WV — International leaders in photobiomodulation (PBM) gathered at 黑料吃瓜网University for a day of strategic planning and recognition.
The session on April 28 included both virtual and in-person attendees from across the United States and around the world, including participants from Canada, Australia, and France.
鈥満诹铣怨贤鳸niversity continues to play a leading role in PBM research, education, and service, fostering international partnerships and creating new opportunities to positively impact wellness and patient care,鈥� said 黑料吃瓜网University President Dr. Mary J.C. Dr. Jennifer Flora, director of the Center of Excellence for PBM at 黑料吃瓜网University, agreed.
鈥淭his was an extraordinary opportunity to gather thought leaders from around the globe to advance the important work being done in photobiomodulation,鈥� Flora said. 鈥淭he strategic planning session allowed us to identify key priorities and strengthen our collaborative efforts to improve outcomes and expand access to this promising modality.鈥�
The Honorable Scot Faulkner led the five-hour planning session, which focused on advancing collaborative research, expanding clinical applications, and identifying global strategies to promote PBM鈥檚 growing role in health and wellness.

The day began in the Center of Excellence for PBM, where Hendrix led a plaque dedication honoring Drs. Donald Patthoff and Robert Bowen for their lasting contributions to PBM and health care.
