We’re excited you have decided to join the ºÚÁϳԹÏÍøUniversity community.
Attending the Orientation programs will provide students with the knowledge, skills, and connections to begin or continue their education. Our office is here to support both ºÚÁϳԹÏÍøstudents and their families as they take the next step in their academic journey. I encourage you to explore the ºÚÁϳԹÏÍøwebsite for information on services, policies, and resources.
Advisement and Registration for First Year Students or Transfer Students: Learn about your chosen academic program, interact with the classmates you will be seeing this semester, work with a faculty advisor, and register for classes! Take this time to talk about your course schedule for the fall and your academic interests.
Culture of Respect: A required online, interactive, and self-paced module about important aspects for students to identify how to become successful members of the ºÚÁϳԹÏÍøcommunity. More information will be sent in the weeks leading up to the first day of classes. If you have any questions, you can contact the Office of Title IX, 304-876-5401.
Convocation: A tradition at ºÚÁϳԹÏÍøUniversity where all incoming students will attend a formal ceremony marking your official entrance into the University. Convocation signifies the beginning of a student’s educational journey and by which they become members of the ºÚÁϳԹÏÍøUniversity community of scholars.
