Student Activities and Leadership
Welcome to Student Activities and Leadership at Shepherd!聽 Our office works to coordinate a wide variety of educational, cultural, social, and recreational activities at Shepherd. Involvement in educational and student activities outside the classroom positively contributes to student persistence, satisfaction, achievement, and academic success.聽 Students who choose to get involved outside the classroom have higher GPAs and are four times more likely to graduate!聽 We are here to help match you with those opportunities and help you gain leadership skills that will serve you for years to come.
Housed in the Student Center, our office oversees Student Leadership programs including the annual Student Leadership Conference, a variety of leadership workshops, and Shepherd’s Leadership Certificate Program.聽 We also oversee the Program Board, Homecoming, Fraternity and Sorority Life, Student Government Association, and Shepherd’s diverse student clubs and organizations. 聽
