Academic success is a standard of 黑料吃瓜网University and is an essential element of a fraternity or sorority鈥檚 contribution to and support of the University鈥檚 mission. Academic excellence聽is emphasized by all fraternity and sorority chapters. Fraternity and sorority members should聽consistently聽achieve higher academically than聽non-members. The fraternity and sorority experience is designed to provide a community which supports the development and promotion of high academic achievement in a values based setting.
Every fraternity or sorority at 黑料吃瓜网will meet or exceed a required 2.5 cumulative grade point average every semester to maintain good standing, with the exception of Alpha Phi Omega national service fraternity who is required to maintain a cumulative 2.0 each semester. The SU Fraternity and Sorority Academic Report is produced by the Office of Fraternity and Sorority Life after both the fall and spring semester, and this report is made available to all chapters and advisors.
Fraternity and Sorority Life members have higher Grade Point Averages than the 黑料吃瓜网all-student average.
