Why Instructional Design
At the Office of Instructional Design (ID), our goal is to collaboratively work with faculty and staff to design instruction (of various modalities) to improve teaching effectiveness. We empower instructors to meet the challenges of the post-emergency teaching era.
The increased student demand for online learning听 coupled with a dynamic technological landscape challenges instructors to adapt and revise materials, courses, or programs. The ID can help instructors tackle these challenges at any stage of the designing process.听
