Dr. Davies Robinson (she/her/hers) joined the Department of Sociology, Criminology, and Criminal Justice in the Fall of 2025. She completed her doctorate in Sociology at Kent State University in 2024. Dr. Davies Robinson earned her MA in Sociology at Auburn University and BA in Psychology from the College of Saint Rose. She teaches SOCI 301 Social Science Writing, SOCI 203 General Sociology, and CRIM 200 Introduction to Criminology classes. Dr. Davies Robinson’s areas of research include sex work, deviance, mothering, inequalities, emotion management, sex trafficking, and violent behavior. She is currently working on publishing her dissertation research which focused how sex workers navigate their work and personal lives.
