Activate RAIL and Student Email
Access to your online accounts as a ºÚÁϳԹÏÍøstudent is essential to academic success. There are two accounts/platforms you’ll want to activate as soon as possible — RAIL and student email.
RAIL
RAIL serves as our online system for managing student records. In this platform, you’ll register for classes, view transcripts, manage financial aid, and view/pay tuition bills.
To access RAIL, enter your ºÚÁϳԹÏÍøID (SID) and PIN on the user login screen.
- Your SID is the nine-digit ID number listed on the acceptance letter.
- For first-time access, the PIN is your six-digit birthdate in MMDDYY format. For example, a birthdate of Jan. 22, 2007, equates to 012207 as the PIN.
Student Email
Equally important, your student email account serves as the primary method of communication to receive updates from professors, campus announcements, tuition payment deadlines, and more. Additionally, this grants you access to numerous University-specific platforms and networks, such as campus-owned computers, Wi-Fi, DegreeWorks, Brightspace, and RamPulse/Corq.
Access to the student email account is granted 24 hours following submission of the enrollment deposit.
