Deadline: April 2, 2025

Outstanding Adjunct – Instruction

Nomination Requirements

Must be adjunct faculty member during the previous spring, summer, or fall semester and taught a minimum of 3 credit hours
Nomination/Self-nomination must include statement about why the person is deserving of the particular award based on contributions during the current year. (Word or .pdf attachment)
Current CV must be provided. (Word or .pdf attachment)
Spring, Summer, Fall course evaluations will be pulled for all nominees for Outstanding Adjunct – Instruction.
Adjunct faculty may be nominated for more than one award but packets should be separate for each.

Winners

Have name listed on a perpetual award plaque
Have name listed on ºÚÁϳԹÏÍøUniversity faculty award pages
Receive a $300 professional development award from the Division of Academic Affairs

Committee: Associate Provost for Faculty Affairs (non-voting); 4 staff/faculty members

Douglas Smith Distinguished Faculty Award

Nomination Requirements

Must be graduate faculty member (full-time or affiliate) during the previous academic year.
Nomination/Self-nomination must include statement about why the person is deserving of the particular award based on contributions to graduate culture including teaching, scholarship, and service. (Word or .pdf attachment)
Current CV must be provided. (Word or .pdf attachment)
Most recent annual report. (Word or .pdf attachment)
All syllabi and any other supporting documents tied to the criteria of the award. (Word or .pdf attachment)

Winners

Receive special medallion.
Receive an individual plaque.
Have name listed on a perpetual award plaque.
Have name listed on ºÚÁϳԹÏÍøUniversity faculty award pages.
Receive a $500 professional development award from the School of Graduate and Professional Studies.
