Private Music Instruction

Piano Recital 2024The ºÚÁϳԹÏÍøUniversity School of Music program provides the opportunity for area musicians of all ages and experience levels to take private lessons, also known as applied lessons, through our Community Music at Shepherd. Students may receive private instruction from qualified ºÚÁϳԹÏÍømusic students, ºÚÁϳԹÏÍøalumni, and adjunct faculty or full time faculty members. Students may study on a weekly basis throughout the school year and summer. Students also have the opportunity to study music theory, composition, or improvisation with a private instructor, if available, through this program. Recitals are presented for the public at the end of each semester in Shipley Recital Hall.
