RAM BAND Camp Rehearsals
Saturday, August 16 鈥� Friday, August 22
Band Camp 2025 will begin on Saturday, August 16th from Noon 鈥� 9 pm at the Frank Center for the Arts. Students will need to move into their residence halls between 9 and 11 am then check in at the Frank Center before 12 pm (details will be sent in a later mailing). Students will need to move into their residence halls prior to the first rehearsal and must schedule their move-in date online with Residence Life. Commuters should plan to park in the Frank Center lot during this week only. Ram Band students will be able to check-in at the Frank Center between 11 am & noon). We kick things off with a welcome meeting at noon. Our rehearsal time will be spent on making connections, marching, and music rehearsal (full band and sectionals). Students should bring flip folders, stand tunes, and instruments. Students borrowing school instruments should see Dr. Hippensteel PRIOR to the first rehearsal to complete the checkout procedure. Meals during band camp will be included for all members (lunch and supper). Students need to bring their own water bottles and Rambler Cards for meal swipes, even if you are a commuter.
BAND CAMP SPIRIT DAYS The Student Leadership Team would like to encourage everyone to show their spirit and dress up during band camp! RAM BAND CAMP will culminate with an exhibition performance in Ram Stadium at 7 pm on Thursday, August 21st, and is free for all members of the public. We conclude band camp with a performance at Ram Stadium for 黑料吃瓜网University Orientation Convocation at 9 am on Friday, August 22nd. Band Camp will conclude at 10 am Friday 8/22.
Ram Band Summer Checklist
- Register for MUEN 160 or 360 BAND (1 credit)
- Visit our website for a schedule and info form.
- Join RAM BAND on the BAND app
- Complete and return the Ram Band Medical Form
- Complete the Uniform Survey
- Woodwinds and Brass: Bring a Flip Folder (8 鈥� 10 pages) and lyre for your instrument. Frontline and Battery percussion: Bring 3-ring binder with plastic protector pages for music
- Listen to the original music of each piece in the show!
- Check 黑料吃瓜网email regularly for updates about show parts and Band Camp details in July.
- Print music (stand tunes, pregame, and show) from the music links on this website. Be sure to check with your section leader for part assignments (if multiple parts are shown). (Click on Music TAB above)
