Join our new flute ensemble!
The ºÚÁϳԹÏÍøCommunity Flute Ensemble is for intermediate to professional level flutists in the area to learn a variety of works during weekly rehearsals in preparation for a concert at the end of each semester. We seek to have players on piccolo, concert, alto, and bass flutes who are open to old and new music alike. Flutists need to have their own instruments and be able to learn their parts independently. The flute ensemble will be directed by Andrea Diggs, Professor for Flute at ºÚÁϳԹÏÍøUniversity School of Music. Auditions will be on August 26, 2025 from 6 – 8 pm. Walk-in registrations will end at 7:30 pm.
How to Prepare:
Register for an audition Please prepare a C Chromatic and G Major Scale two-octaves and a solo piece, no longer than one minute. There will also be sight-reading.
The cost to participate is $160 per semester. A payment link will be sent upon acceptance after the audition process.
