The Student Affairs Programmers Group
Established in 2012 by the Division of Student Affairs, the Programmers Group is听made up of representatives from diverse听units across campus who collaborate听to plan, schedule, and market campus events.听Working together, this group has established best practices in event planning, launched the听听student engagement platform to connect students to opportunities on campus,听pioneered听new assessment tools听and practices, developed protocols for听tracking attendance, and provided a space for generating creative solutions to problems. These efforts have听encouraged partners to focus on the University鈥檚 core values and learning outcomes in programming and听resulted in cost-savings听to the University,听new collaborative partnerships and resource-sharing, and听stronger events and student engagement听across campus.听听听听听
