This page is to provide students information about the technology environment at Shepherd.
Instructions for connecting to Shepherd’s RamNet and SU Guest Wi-Fi networks are located on this page.
If you are unable to connect to these Wi-Fi networks, please send an email to itworkorder@shepherd.edu with the following information:
- Which WiFi network you were trying to connect to: RamNet or SU Guest
- The issue you are experiencing, such as unable to connect, connected but device shows no Internet, unstable connection/drops, or other with as much detail as you can provide.
- Type of device. Please be as specific as you can.
- Internet Protocol (IPv4) Address.
- Device’s Wi-Fi MAC address.
- Date, time, building location (include room, when available) and duration of the issue.
- Phone number where we may reach you.
Personal Network Gear – Use of personally owned network gear (hubs/Wi-Fi routers/etc.) on Shepherd’s network.
