WHAT IS MY RAMBLER AND WHAT IS IT USED FOR?
ϳԹUniversity students gain access to various benefits on and off campus through their Rambler, also known as their student identification (Student ID) card. Whether you are a residential student or commuter, the Rambler card will provide you access to facilities, meals, vending, printing, events, and more. The first card is free. Replacements for lost or stolen cards is $25.00. The fee to print a worn or damaged card is $10.00. If the card is defective at no fault of the user, the replacement fee may be waived.
wHERE CAN I GET MY RAMBLER PRINTED?
Students and employees are able to log into their Rambler account through the , upload their photo, and request a card to be printed. We also encourage stopping by either the Games Zone or Wellness Center during their hours of operations to request a card.

WHERE DO I ADD MORE MONEY TO MY RAMBLER?
ճ offers online account management. You can add money here, request money from a family or friend, or set a reoccurring deposit of funds onto your Rambler.
HOW CAN SOMEONE SECURLEY SEND ME MONEY tO USE ON MY RAMBLER?
Any guest can access the secure portal for depositing money onto a Rambler card by clicking . There is a $10 minimum and the system will take Visa, Mastercard and Discover.
WHAT IS A RAMBLER DOLLAR?
Rambler Dollars is the funding deposited to the Rambler card which can be used at any vending or retail store on campus along with a variety of merchants in the community. Click here to learn more about which vendors accept Rambler Dollars.
HOW IS THAT DIFFERENT THAN A DINING DOLLAR?
Dining Dollars are a part of a meal plan. Dining Dollars are included in five available Meal Plans and may be used at any of our retail dining locations (Riverside Market, Fireside Bistro, and Wellness Cafe). Whenever you make a purchase, the total price is deducted from your account balance. Unused Dining Dollars roll over from the fall semester to the spring semesterwith the purchase of a spring dining plan,but will expire at the end of the academic year. Additionally, Dining Dollars can be used with your meal exchanges at retail locations. Visit ourfor location information, including dining hall menus and hours of operation.
HOW DO I SEE MY RAMBLER CARD BALANCE?
Once logged into your , your balance will appear on the first page of that site.
I LOST MY RAMBLER. HOW DO I CANCEL MY ACCOUNT?
Report lost or stolen cards immediately by calling (304) 876-5300 during normal business hours or by using the Rambler Online Card Office. Note that in order to access the Rambler Online portal you will first need to create an account. Do so by following directions found here. You can then login to check your balance, review your transaction history, andreport your card lost/stolen. Reminder, your Username is your 9 digit ϳԹID number. A password will be e-mailed to you (new user) or it is one you created when setting up your account.
- Stop by the Wellness Center to see if we have your card or to get a new Rambler.
- A $25 fee will apply for each replacement card issued.
- Don’t have any money to replace a lost Rambler? No Problem, you can charge the cost to your ϳԹUniversity student account.
WHAT IF MY RAMBLER IS DAMAGED?
Do not use a broken or cracked card in the readers at anytime. Do not under any circumstances use tape or glue to repair your broken card as it may cause the card readers to permanently jam. If your damaged card causes a repair to a card reader, you may be liable for the costs to repair the unit. To get the maximum life from your card, we highly recommend you protect your Rambler Card in a wallet or plastic protector. Carrying your ID unprotected in your back pocket or your backpack is the #1 ID killer!
WHERE CAN I PAY WITH MY RAMBLER OFF CAMPUS?
There are limited locations where your Rambler can be used to purchase items at that vendor. Use the button to view all vendors and where you can show your Rambler for a discount.
WHEN IS IT IMPERMISSIBLE TO USE MY RAMBLER AT A LOCAL VENDOR?
The Rambler card cannot be used to purchase alcohol, tobacco, lottery tickets, gift certificates/cards or pornography. It is also impermissible to withdraw cash from the Rambler card.
CAN I GET A DISCOUNT BY SHOWING MY RAMBLER CARD?
The Rambler Card is teaming up with local merchants who wish to offer “perks” to our students, staff/faculty and Alumni Association members. To take advantage of these perks you must show your Rambler ID. Neither ϳԹUniversity nor any of its non-profit affiliates endorse or warrant the suitability of any merchant or their products and services. Recourse for disputes with Rambler Perks Program merchants regarding products or services is exclusively between the cardholder and the merchant.
WHAT HAPPENS TO MY DEPOSITED FUNDS WHEN I GRADUATE OR WITHDRAW?
Refunds will only be processed upon completing a refund request form at the Wellness Center upon withdrawal, graduation, transfer, or employment termination from the University. Any refunds will be paid by check through established State refund procedures and mailed to the address on the refund request form. Following card revocation, if no refund request or other contact regarding a remaining balance comes from you within 180 calendar days, a 10% handling charge will be assessed by the University, and you will be deemed to have assigned the remaining balance irrevocably to the ϳԹUniversity Foundation as a discretionary gift.
WHERE DO I CHECK MY BALANCE?
ճoffers online account management. Your receipt from retail locations shows your Rambler, Dining Dollar, and Meal Swipe balances. You can come into the Wellness Center for Rambler account balance info. You cannot obtain your balance over the phone.
WHAT DOES IT MEAN WHEN A MACHINE SAYS “RELOAD BALANCE”?
That means your card balance has dropped to $5.00 or less. It’s time to put more money on your card.
