What kind of donations does the Ram Pantry accept?
We accept non-perishable foods, toiletries, and school supplies! A full list of the types of physical donations can be found on our Pantry Donations Page.
Does the Ram Pantry accept monetary donations?
Yes, we do! Annual costs to support the food pantry are estimated to be between $9,000-$11,000. Donations of any size will have a huge impact on the lives of ºÚÁϳԹÏÍøUniversity students, faculty, and their families who find funding for food to be a major roadblock to continuing their education.
Where can I drop off donations?
Donations can be dropped off at the Student Center on the east side of ºÚÁϳԹÏÍøUniversity’s campus. Please contact our Pantry Coordinator to set up a time to drop off the donations. Donations can also be dropped off at the ºÚÁϳԹÏÍøUniversity Wellness Center front desk during operational hours found .
How can I get assistance from the pantry?
If you have not utilized the pantry before, please complete theÌý. This only needs to be completed once! To receive pantry items, please stop by the Ram Pantry during operation hours: Mondays 9 am-12 pm and Thursdays 3 pm-6 pm.Ìý During the summer, the pantry is open on Wednesdays from 10 am – 1 pm.Ìý The Ram Pantry is closed on all holidays and during inclement weather if the university is closed.
Can I volunteer at the pantry?
Yes! We are always looking for volunteers for the Ram Pantry. You do not have to do an entire 3-hour shift if you are not available. We can work with your schedule! We do provide service hours for volunteers who help run the pantry. You will be assisting clients, sorting donations, and assisting with the operations of the pantry. Please contact our Pantry Coordinator for more information.
