ºÚÁϳԹÏÍøCommunity Recorder Ensemble
Bring your nice wooden heirlooms or dust off your plastic Yamaha and join the ºÚÁϳԹÏÍøCommunity Recorder Ensemble! All ages and levels are welcome, so long as you can read music and know your basic recorder fingerings. We will learn a wide variety of music and prepare for a concert at the end of each semester. The first week of each semester will be sight-reading. The recorder ensemble is under the direction of Andrea Diggs, Professor for Flute at ºÚÁϳԹÏÍøUniversity School of Music.
Fall 2025 Semester – Mondays, August 25-December 8, 2025 Ìý´Ú°ù´Ç³¾ 6:00-7:20 p.m. with a concert on December 9, 2025Ìý²¹³Ù 7:30 p.m. in the Frank Arts Center Theater. Placement auditions will take place during the first rehearsal on August 25.
How to Prepare:
Please register for a placement audition . Bring your instrument and be prepared to sight-read.
The cost to participate is $160 per semester. A payment link will be sent after the placement audition is complete.
